Global Launch Manager

Role overview

This is a strategic, full-time launch leadership role based in Central Germany. The position focuses on converting product strategy into successful worldwide launches, coordinating teams across functions and regions, and making sure products are introduced into the right markets at the right time. The role also supports stronger governance, more effective launch processes, and broader business growth across international markets.

What you will do

• Steer global product launches end to end, covering technical readiness, commercial rollout, and the transition of ownership to local teams.
• Serve as the main coordination hub between global departments and regional partners to keep all workstreams aligned.
• Strengthen cross-functional teamwork so launch milestones and readiness goals are achieved on schedule.
• Spot risks early, remove blockers, and raise major issues to senior leadership when needed.
• Manage launch tracking and portfolio reporting tools to maintain clear visibility on schedules and overall progress.
• Lead governance and review sessions, delivering organised status updates to senior stakeholders.
• Run post-launch reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future launch performance.
• Help refine launch methods, templates, and governance structures.
• Work closely with teams in manufacturing, supply chain, regulatory, and commercial areas.

What we are looking for

• A degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Substantial professional experience, including meaningful work in pharmaceutical project management or launch management.
• A strong history of delivering complex, cross-functional launches in international settings.
• Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain, including technical and commercial readiness requirements.
• Excellent analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability, with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
• Experience operating in matrix organisations and influencing senior-level stakeholders.
• Exposure to portfolio management, PMO practices, or commercial operations would be an advantage.
• Strong English communication skills.
