Role overview
Apprize Technology Solutions is hiring a Golang Engineer for its London Area, United Kingdom location. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on building and supporting back-end services in a collaborative delivery environment.
What you will do
You will contribute to the development of business features and customer-facing journeys within a team that follows Scrum practices. The work involves designing and supporting back-end microservices, integrating systems through REST APIs and asynchronous messaging, and ensuring software is tested and automated from development through to production deployment.
Required background
The role calls for hands-on experience in at least one statically typed back-end programming language. Golang is preferred, although candidates with strong experience in another comparable language may also be considered. You should be comfortable working with microservice-based systems and familiar with service-to-service communication patterns such as REST and messaging platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Technical environment
Experience or familiarity with tools and technologies such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, Golang, Git, gRPC, Docker, and GraphQL is desirable. The role also expects practical exposure to continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous testing, along with version control systems such as Git or SVN. Tools including Jenkins, Rally, and/or JIRA are also relevant to the environment.
Working style
This position suits someone who can work effectively within a Scrum team, contribute to automated delivery pipelines, and help ensure reliable release of tested software into production.
