Role Overview

This graduate opportunity sits within LGC Group’s Analytics Centre of Excellence in Corporate Finance. It is designed for an analytical, ambitious problem solver who wants to build a career at the intersection of data, finance, and technology. The role gives exposure to both finance and non-finance areas of the business while contributing to reporting, analysis, and insight generation that supports decision-making.

Over the course of 18 months, you will work toward a Level 4 Applied Data & AI Specialist qualification while gaining hands-on experience in a rotating environment across different parts of the organisation.

  • Partner with teams across the business to understand their information needs and provide data support that helps them make informed decisions.
  • Collect, clean, and assess financial and operational datasets to identify useful trends and business insights.
  • Create management information reports and use visualisation techniques to present findings in a clear and practical way.
  • Help maintain data processes within the data warehouse, ensuring information is accurate, available, and protected.
  • Work with modern analytics platforms and tools such as Tableau and Snowflake while developing capability in SQL, Python, and data visualisation.

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum 2:1 bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in economics, finance, data science, or a related analytical discipline.
  • Strong maths or economics background, supported by an A-Level grade of A or equivalent.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data clearly to different audiences.
