This position is a remote, full-time opportunity with occasional travel to warehouse and field sites when required. It supports a mobile hospitality operation that rapidly deploys complete base camp services nationwide, including hot meals served three times a day, sleeper units, showers, bathrooms, full laundry services, and everyday consumables. The core purpose of the role is to strengthen operational readiness, food safety, and inventory accuracy through better systems and data-driven processes.

Position Summary
The Inventory Systems & Logistics Analyst is a high-impact, cross-functional contributor who reports to the Executive Chef / Director of Operations. The role focuses on creating, rolling out, and managing technology-based solutions that support warehouse workflows, inventory governance, logistics planning, and data connectivity. Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Manager, and Asset Manager, the analyst helps strengthen receiving, tracking, and deployment processes by owning the systems, workflows, and data that keep operations running efficiently. This is a practical, collaborative role that solves day-to-day operational issues through process improvement and cross-team coordination.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and continuously refine tailored inventory management tools using Excel, Access, and related platforms.
- Carry out and monitor physical stock counts for food and small wares, then enter precise information into the inventory system.
- Create Bill of Lading documents and coordinate closely with Logistics to ensure outbound shipments move without disruption.
- Partner with Accounting to support both live and batch data movement into NetSuite and other finance systems.
- Offer technical assistance to Logistics, Operations, and Supply Chain teams for software, hardware, and automation-related issues.
- Work alongside the Supply Chain Manager to keep system outputs aligned with field inventory needs and warehouse receiving procedures, and provide backup support when needed.
- Assist the Procurement Manager and Asset Manager with reports, data handling, and systems integration tasks as needed.
- Serve as a go-to resource for field crews during camp build-outs, especially for food and supply truck setup requirements.
- Step in to supervise hourly or temporary workers during busy periods or deployment-based projects when necessary.
- Identify and suggest improvements to inventory movement and control based on direct observation and analysis of operational data.
Requirements
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Access, and database-oriented tools.
- Hands-on experience creating or overseeing custom systems for inventory and logistics tracking.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving ability, with the confidence to work across multiple departments.
- Exposure to warehouse operations, food inventory management, and field logistics is preferred.
- Experience connecting software platforms, including custom tools with ERP systems such as NetSuite.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into simple language.
- Capability to work independently, balance competing priorities, and perform well in a fast-moving, adaptable environment.
