Role overview
This opportunity is for an experienced Java software engineer who wants to contribute to AI training work. You will join a large and expanding network of technical professionals working on real-world AI improvement tasks.
The platform combines flexibility with challenging projects. Typical assignments may include solving complex coding problems, building polished applications with advanced functionality, and using data analysis and visualization to generate useful insights. Your contributions help improve intelligent systems as they learn and evolve.
Some contributors use this work alongside another full-time job, while others make it their main focus and select tasks based on their own availability and goals.
How selection works
To begin, you must create an account and complete a short assessment, which acts as the screening step. If you pass, you will receive confirmation by email and paid work will be made available through the platform.
Contracting benefits

- Project pay starts at USD 50 to 100+ per hour, with some assignments offering higher compensation.
Responsibilities
- Create and solve coding tasks that help train AI systems, especially with an Android development focus.
- Produce accurate code examples along with clear, well-structured explanations.
- Review AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
- Share feedback that helps improve the next generation of AI models.
Qualifications
- Strong command of English at native or bilingual level.
- Preferred background in Kotlin, plus proficiency in at least one relevant language or framework such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
- Excellent written communication, grammar, and explanation skills.
- Completed or ongoing bachelor’s degree.
- Prior work as a software developer, coder, software engineer, or programmer is an advantage.
Additional information
Payments are processed through PayPal. You will never be asked to pay any fee, and PayPal will manage any currency conversion from USD.
This role is open only to candidates based in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Applicants outside these locations will not currently see available work or assessments.
This is an independent contractor engagement.
