Junior Estimator

Job Summary

Mirodec is looking for a Junior Estimator with a solid background in pricing work related to glass, mirrors, and decorative metals. The position calls for a strong grasp of estimating workflows and the ability to review a bill of quantities or client drawings and translate them into accurate price estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and organize cost information covering materials, labour, and equipment.
• Study project drawings and specifications to understand the full scope of work.
• Build initial estimates and support the checking of final pricing submissions.
• Keep cost records, databases, and estimation tools current and accurate.
• Support senior estimators in preparing project quotations and pricing documents.
• Work closely with the sales and project management teams to help ensure proper planning and pricing.
• When required, visit sites to collect the information needed for estimation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in glass, metal, or fitout work is mandatory.
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience is required.
• Strong attention to detail and an organized, systematic working style are important.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required.

• The role follows a 5-day workweek with 2 days off, Saturday and Sunday.
