About the Role
NPR Group of Institutions is seeking a full-time Librarian for its Dindigul campus. This on-site position involves comprehensive management of library services, including the organization and maintenance of collections, meticulous cataloging of resources, and providing essential instructional support to both students and faculty. The role also encompasses overseeing the daily operations of the library, ensuring optimal utilization of library materials, and assisting library patrons with their research and information retrieval needs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Library Services and Library Management
- Knowledge of Library Science and Metadata standards
- Experience providing Library Instruction to users
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Master’s degree in Library Science or related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with educational institutions and their library needs is an advantage
