About the Role

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is hiring a Manager, Safe Fleet Process Owner to lead global fleet and road safety efforts. What You'll Do

  • Create, update, and roll out worldwide fleet and road safety policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Own incident reviews, root cause analysis, and follow-up corrective actions for fleet and road safety events.
  • Review fleet safety metrics, patterns, and KPIs, then present insights and improvement ideas to senior leaders.
  • Plan and coordinate driver training, qualification, and safety awareness programs across regions.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation, road safety, and fleet rules at local, regional, and global levels.
  • Work with procurement, operations, and HR to support safe vehicle choices, upkeep, and driver oversight.
  • Contribute to sustainability efforts in fleet operations, including emissions reduction and eco-driving.
  • Take part in EHS&S audits and assessments.
  • Coach and support regional office/deliver/fleet specialists and commercial teams through technical guidance and training.
  • Help design and coordinate road safety training modules and regional learning sessions.
  • Assist with crisis response and emergency management for fleet-related incidents.
  • Represent the organization in external fleet safety groups and industry forums.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Transportation, or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 to 8+ years of relevant experience in fleet or road safety management, or in EHS.
  • Strong command of fleet safety regulations and standards.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across regions, sectors, and functions.
  • Solid analytical ability and data management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with incident investigation and corrective action management.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders.
  • Experience managing vendors and suppliers strategically.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean/good driving history.
  • Willingness to travel 20% to 30% of the time for domestic and international site visits, audits, and training.
  • People management experience is not required.
  • A master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Preferred experience includes global fleet safety programs, sustainability and emissions reduction initiatives, and road safety or fleet management certifications such as CSP, CSM, or Fleet Safety Certification.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected base salary range for this position in Ireland is €70,100.00 to €121,210.00.

In addition to base pay, the company offers an annual bonus or sales commission depending on role and location, with payout tied to employee and company performance from the prior calendar year.
