Role Overview
The Manning Audit Coordinator will take charge of coordinating the internal and external audit program related to manning activities. This role focuses on planning audits, following them through to completion, documenting results, tracking corrective actions, and helping improve the broader audit process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, execution, follow-up, and reporting of internal and external manning audits.
- Assist audits carried out by appointed MLC auditors.
- Coordinate with external manning agencies and support day-to-day communication as needed.
- Work with qualified MLC auditors to ensure audits are properly arranged and completed.
- Monitor audit outcomes, including non-conformities, observations, and recommendations, within required deadlines.
- Escalate corrective and preventive actions that remain open beyond the agreed timeline.
- Help investigate the root causes behind overdue actions.
- Provide clear visibility on audit progress, recurring trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Compile audit results and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Review stakeholder satisfaction feedback and suggest practical improvements.
- Maintain strong consistency and quality in audit coordination, reporting, and tracking activities.
- Support market analysis when required.
- Contribute to strengthening the audit team’s capabilities.
- Help enhance audit tools, templates, and working processes.
- Take part in audits with qualified auditors as part of professional development.
- Carry out other related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, or another relevant discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in manning operations, audit/risk/compliance, or quality-related functions.
- Prior exposure to audits or compliance work will be considered an advantage.
- Capability to lead audit assignments and offer guidance when needed.
- Strong analytical skills, including comfort handling large volumes of data.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Confidence to challenge constructively and influence discussions professionally.
