Role Overview
YouLand is hiring a Marketing Associate with a primary emphasis on events and brand marketing. This position will help plan and deliver memorable in-person experiences, ranging from large industry summits to smaller investor gatherings, with the goal of generating leads, strengthening relationships, and supporting deal flow.
The role partners closely with sales, loan operations, and external collaborators to activate the brand both offline and online. It is best suited for someone who can balance creativity with organization, enjoys building structure, and is comfortable handling both planning details and hands-on execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage post-event follow-up by tracking, labeling, and nurturing event-generated leads in HubSpot, while creating simple systems that keep promising prospects engaged.
- Plan and support live event activations such as investor salons and flipping workshops, including RSVP management, preparation of event materials, and on-site coordination to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Convert event outcomes into future marketing opportunities by developing recap content, follow-up emails, and post-event snippets for lead nurturing and digital distribution.
- Produce short-form video content by filming and editing engaging clips featuring property transformations, investor insights, leadership soundbites, and deal highlights for social channels such as TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Design polished sales and marketing collateral using Canva or similar tools, including pitch decks, one-pagers, brochures, and internal resources for origination and capital markets teams.
- Assist with repurposing existing content from events, webinars, and investor Q&As into concise, shareable formats.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, sales operations, community work, or events.
- Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to execute reliably.
- Excellent writing ability, along with a strong visual sense and an understanding of marketing and design trends that support a modern brand identity.
- Comfort using tools such as HubSpot, Canva, Eventbrite, Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and AI tools such as Claude and OpenAI products.
- Ability to work from the Menlo Park, California office.
- Bonus experience in real estate, fintech, or private credit.
- Bonus capability to communicate design ideas effectively and create refined, on-brand sales materials and presentations.

You are a proactive, resourceful person who enjoys bringing order to fast-moving situations and spotting practical improvements that create impact. You work well across teams, can operate independently, and are comfortable collaborating with sales, design, and leadership.
You should also have a strong eye for presentation quality, the confidence to create engaging visual content, and the ability to produce a polished 30-second video that captures attention quickly.
