Role overview
This opportunity is for a Marketing Manager to lead retail and shopper activation for a global prestige beauty brand. The role sits within the UK & Ireland team and focuses on converting brand campaigns and product launches into tailored activation plans for retail partners across physical stores, digital channels, and omnichannel touchpoints.
You will work where brand, sales, and retail meet, taking ownership of go-to-market activation, launch planning, and execution across multiple channels for a highly recognised name in the beauty industry.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver retailer-specific go-to-market and trade activation plans across in-store, online, and omnichannel environments.
- Own the planning and rollout of new product launches, hero ranges, and major commercial moments.
- Work closely with Sales, Consumer Engagement, CRM, Online, and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure aligned execution.
- Monitor campaign and activation performance, then use the findings to improve future plans.
- Handle activation budgets, schedules, and relationships with agencies and suppliers from start to finish.
What the role calls for
The ideal candidate will have a background in trade marketing, retail marketing, go-to-market planning, or omnichannel activation. You should understand the UK and Ireland retail environment and shopper behaviour well, and you should be able to design activation strategies that are specific to individual retailers rather than relying only on broad brand campaigns.
Strong commercial thinking is important, including the ability to balance brand value with financial performance. You should also be comfortable working at pace, coordinating several launches, stakeholders, and priorities at once. Experience in beauty, luxury, fashion, or premium FMCG will be an advantage.
Additional information
This role would suit someone already working in trade or shopper marketing within beauty, luxury, or premium FMCG who is looking for the scale, pace, and profile of a global category leader.
Interested candidates were invited to get in touch with Nathan at the Advocate Group to discuss the role confidentially and share a CV for consideration.
