Role Overview

An experienced Mason is needed for a full-time onsite position in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi Emirate. This role focuses on building, repairing, and maintaining structures using materials such as brick, stone, concrete, and tile. Key Responsibilities

• Read drawings and work specifications to plan tasks and calculate the materials needed.
• Prepare construction mixes such as mortar, cement, paste, and slaking lime in the required proportions.

• Carry out small-scale civil repair work, including painting, tiling, and gypsum-related tasks.

• Set up barricades and warning signs around the work area to maintain site safety.
• Use sandblasting tools where surface preparation or smoothing is needed.

• Record completed work and materials consumed for proper documentation.
• Coordinate with other construction staff to help projects finish on schedule.

Requirements

• High school education or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 8 years of experience working as a Mason or in a comparable role.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Solid knowledge of construction materials, methods, and finishing techniques.
• Hands-on expertise in bricklaying, stonework, concrete work, and tiling.
• Practical experience using sandblasting equipment and performing minor structural repairs.
• Good basic arithmetic skills for measurement and material estimation.
• Enough physical strength and endurance to handle demanding site work.
• Strong focus on detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to solve issues quickly when unexpected site challenges arise.
• Well-developed organizational and time-management skills.
