Mechanical Project Engineer

Role Overview

This opportunity is with a major Irish M&E building services contractor for a Mechanical Project Engineer to support a large project in Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim.

What You Will Be Doing

You will work alongside the Project Manager and the broader delivery team across the full project journey. The role includes handling technical submittals, responding to RFIs, assisting with procurement, coordinating subcontractors, supporting commissioning, managing handover activities, and maintaining project records and documentation.

What the Employer Is Looking For

The position is aimed at people with a Mechanical Engineering background who have already worked in building services, M&E, or construction settings. The ideal candidate should bring strong technical ability, good organisation, and practical familiarity with MS Project and Microsoft Office.
