Role Overview

As a Planner I, you will carry out routine planning tasks while building deeper expertise in supply chain planning. The position calls for foundational knowledge of supply chain concepts and general business understanding. You will work with direction from senior team members, contribute technically to the team’s output, and use standard methods to analyze information, solve common issues, and support team objectives. Clear communication, active clarification, and information-sharing are important parts of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow Integer’s values and comply with all safety, environmental, security, quality, and regulatory requirements, including QMS, Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, FDA rules, company policies, operating procedures, and other applicable regulations.
• Partner with production, procurement, and logistics teams to build and keep production schedules accurate.
• Run daily and weekly production plans according to order priority and resource availability, while coordinating with production teams to keep flow steady.
• Help resolve scheduling issues and respond to production disruptions.
• Take part in cross-functional discussions to improve communication and coordination.
• Maintain accurate ERP records for planning data such as lead times, batch sizes, and manufacturing cycle times.
• Build and manage production schedules while factoring in raw materials, equipment, shifts, and workforce alignment.
• Share production status updates and issues with supply chain leadership.
• Maintain target inventory levels across product families.
• Suggest schedule adjustments when known constraints require changes.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

Performance Measures

• On-time delivery: how well production schedules are completed within the planned timelines.
• Schedule attainment: the degree to which actual production matches the planned schedule.
• Sales order backorder: the amount of customer demand that cannot be fulfilled right away because of inventory or capacity limits.
• Inventory levels: inventory value and days on hand, including monitoring WIP aging and finished goods levels against targets.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-moving supply chain environment, be able to collaborate with multiple teams, and stay composed under changing priorities. Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and confidence in problem-solving are important.

Education and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates without the stated education may still be considered if they bring at least two years of relevant supply chain experience.

Skills and Tools

This role requires practical knowledge of business processes, the ability to assess standard problems and identify workable solutions, and strong computer skills. Experience with ERP systems is valuable, with Oracle preferred. Background in a manufacturing environment is helpful, and experience in medical devices is an advantage.

Communication and Working Style

You should be able to communicate clearly in both spoken and written form, work independently when needed, and also collaborate effectively with planners, supervisors, managers, and cross-functional partners. A calm, positive, and resilient attitude is important in this environment.
