Role overview
Keywords Studios is seeking a seasoned, motivated, and hands-on Producer to join an upcoming project. In this position, you will help steer game development delivery across internal teams, external collaborators, and client-side stakeholders. The role involves planning, coordination, communication, milestone management, risk handling, and everyday production support within a co-development setup spread across multiple locations.
This opportunity is best suited to a mid-to-senior producer with experience across different game genres, ideally on AAA or large-scale titles. You should be comfortable working directly with clients, publishers, and development teams.
The position can be based remotely or in a hybrid arrangement.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality game content and features, ensuring work stays on schedule, within scope, and aligned to budget.
- Organise, oversee, and monitor project tasks across one or more development areas.
- Build and keep up to date production schedules, milestone plans, sprint plans, deliverable trackers, risk logs, and dependency lists.
- Partner with teams across design, engineering, art, animation, technical art, QA, and external vendors or partners.
- Coordinate work across distributed teams and keep communication effective across locations, time zones, and disciplines.
- Serve as a main contact point for clients and publishers, managing feedback, priorities, approvals, and day-to-day communication.
- Support milestone delivery by planning, tracking progress, preparing for reviews, and following up on action items.
- Spot risks early and work with leads, production, and stakeholders to remove blockers or adjust plans when needed.
- Run and facilitate meetings such as stand-ups, planning sessions, milestone reviews, client calls, and cross-discipline check-ins.
- Keep documentation, meeting notes, action points, and status reports accurate and current.
- Help clarify team goals, responsibilities, and priorities so everyone stays aligned.
- Work with leads to improve team productivity, refine workflows, and support morale.
- Assist with onboarding and integrating new team members into the project.
- When applicable, support console submission planning, compliance tracking, build preparation, and QA/platform coordination.
Required experience and capabilities
- Demonstrated experience as a Producer, Project Manager, or in a comparable production role within the games industry.
- Background in co-development work or collaboration with external development partners.
- Experience coordinating teams distributed across multiple locations, time zones, or disciplines.
- Exposure to the complete game development cycle, from pre-production through main production and gold master delivery.
- Strong client-facing communication skills, with direct experience working with publishers, clients, or other external stakeholders.
- Experience with milestone planning, schedule monitoring, sprint planning, task management, risk tracking, and delivery follow-through.
- Solid understanding of game development pipelines across design, engineering, art, animation, QA, and technical art.
- Experience on AAA or large-scale projects is highly desirable.
- Experience across multiple game genres is an advantage.
- Console development experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with console manufacturer submissions, platform compliance, TRC/XR/Lotcheck, or release certification is an added advantage.
- Porting or platform adaptation experience is also beneficial.
- Comfort using production and collaboration tools such as Jira, Hansoft, Confluence, Notion, Miro, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or equivalent platforms.
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
- Clear communicator who can surface risks early and keep teams aligned and focused.
- Proactive, practical, and comfortable in a fast-paced development environment.
Eligibility and location
Only candidates who already have the right to work in Singapore or Malaysia will be considered. Visa sponsorship and relocation support are not available for this role.
The role is available in APAC, specifically Singapore and Malaysia, with a remote or hybrid working pattern.
