Role Overview
This position is for a Production Operator reporting to a Production Supervisor in Singapore, Corporation Place. The role is on a 12-month contract basis, with the possibility of renewal or conversion to a permanent position.
Key Duties
- Carry out a broad range of electronic and electromechanical assembly tasks on finished units or sub-assemblies.
- Follow the required process order for wiring, component fitting, hand soldering, and cable harness work.
- Set up equipment and make adjustments while maintaining blueprint-level tolerances.
- Work from process documentation or instructions received verbally or in writing from the supervisor.
- Verify completed work and inspect operations against defined tolerance standards.
Requirements
- At least a secondary school education is required.
- Candidates should be comfortable working either shifts or a regular shift schedule.
- Prior experience of around 1 year in an SMT operator role is preferred.
- The job follows a shift arrangement of 12-hour day shifts with a 4-days-on, 3-days-off rotation.
- The initial contract runs for 12 months and may be renewed or changed to a permanent role.
- The workplace is in the West area, and transport pickup is available from Jurong East and Lakeside MRT stations.
