Job Overview

NTT DATA Services is seeking a Production Support Engineer with expertise in PL/SQL and Java to join our team in Bangalore. This role involves supporting production environments, resolving issues, and maintaining applications using core Java and Oracle PL/SQL. The position offers a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Perform bug fixing and maintenance tasks utilizing core Java and PL/SQL.
• Support production applications and ensure their smooth operation.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and tools.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in Core Java/J2EE development.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, including functions, procedures, triggers, packages, and views.
• Experience with Junit, including Mockito and Power Mockito.
• Familiarity with application servers like BEA WebLogic and BOSS EAP.
• Knowledge of build and configuration tools such as Ant and Gradle.
• Experience with version control systems like GIT and SVN.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Understanding of LDAP is considered a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Additional Information

This role requires a strong understanding of both Java and PL/SQL for effective production support. Experience with SOAP, Spring Boot, and Rest API is also beneficial.
