Role overview
This position supports project engineering and site leadership with a mix of administrative and technical coordination work across the full project cycle. The focus is on managing project paperwork, tracking documentation, and helping build job order packages so engineering and production activities stay aligned.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee document control tasks, including handling submittals, receiving documents, and preparing final record books.
- Track all incoming and outgoing transmittals in organized logs.
- Keep client materials such as specifications and drawings sorted, current, and easy to retrieve.
- Prepare paperwork needed for inspections performed by external parties.
- Support project engineers and project managers during all stages of a project.
- Process sales orders for engineered projects.
- Update design, production, and shipment timelines in ERP software.
- Build job order packages, including bills of materials and man-hour checks.
- Scan and file returned job order packages from production.
- Help complete final project close-out activities.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Applicants should have 2 to 5 years of experience in customer service or technical support.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is required.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office suite is expected.
- Prior exposure to ERP systems will be considered an advantage.
- Strong coordination and communication abilities are important for success in this role.
Working conditions
This is a full-time, on-site role. The work is based in a manufacturing setting and may involve exposure to machinery and active production processes. Occasional extended working hours may be needed depending on operational requirements.
Language requirements
- English communication skills are mandatory.
- The candidate must be able to communicate and work effectively within Saudi Arabia.
- Comfort working with a diverse group of nationalities, particularly in a Saudi context, is preferred.
Computer skills
