Quality Lead

We are hiring an experienced Quality Lead for a major mission-critical construction project in Frankfurt, Germany. In this role, you will own the project quality framework, making sure the Quality Management Plan is put into practice and remains aligned with company standards as well as German legal and regulatory requirements.

You will work alongside project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives to build a strong quality culture and help deliver the project to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the rollout and day-to-day control of the Project Quality Plan across every stage of construction.
• Make sure all work follows company procedures, client expectations, project specifications, and relevant German regulations.
• Track site activities to confirm compliance with approved Inspection and Test Plans, method statements, and quality benchmarks.
• Carry out routine inspections, audits, and quality checks to spot non-conformances and put corrective and preventive measures in place.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and client teams to close out quality issues efficiently.
• Oversee quality records such as inspection reports, test certificates, quality summaries, NCRs, and final handover documents.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and workmanship meet project requirements, DIN standards, relevant Eurocodes, and client quality expectations.
• Support project handover by confirming that all quality files and close-out documentation are complete and compliant.
• Join project meetings, site inspections, and client walkthroughs while providing clear quality guidance to stakeholders.
• Encourage continuous improvement and share best practices throughout the project team.

Requirements

• A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a similar field.
• Previous experience as a Quality Lead, Quality Manager, or Senior Quality Engineer on large construction, mission-critical, data centre, pharmaceutical, or industrial projects.
• Good working knowledge of construction methods, quality assurance processes, and inspection procedures.
• Understanding of German construction rules, DIN standards, applicable Eurocodes, and quality management systems.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems and auditing practices.
• Hands-on experience managing quality records and inspection workflows on complex construction projects.
• Strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and close attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Comfort working independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary project team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management software.
• Fluency in English is required; German language skills are an added advantage.
