The Rock Shop Sales Associate is the knowledgeable companion who guides guests through their shopping experience at Hard Rock Cafe. Because Hard Rock merchandise is a distinct part of the brand, the role calls for someone who can sell with energy, personality, and product expertise. In this position, you act as a guide, entertainer, problem-solver, memorabilia specialist, and, at heart, a music lover.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally.
• Respond to guest questions accurately and courteously.
• Handle incoming phone calls.
• Process sales through the electronic point-of-sale system.
• Manage cash and other payment methods carefully and responsibly.
• Maintain proper control of the cash drawer and related balances.
• Provide guests with information about the different areas of the restaurant.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all products.
• Use active selling techniques to understand guest needs and present Hard Rock products effectively.
• Apply suggestive selling methods to increase sales opportunities.
• Keep the shop clean, neat, and well organized.
• Ensure merchandise is sufficiently stocked, including replenishing inventory and supporting counts.
• Display Hard Rock merchandise in line with window and visual merchandising standards.
• Set up and close down the workstation and complete support tasks such as cleaning glass, polishing metal, sweeping, vacuuming, and folding clothing.
• Work to maintain high guest satisfaction at all times.
• Create memorable Hard Rock Cafe experiences for visitors.
• Support guests in a manner aligned with the Hard Rock brand values.

Requirements

• Ability to perform duties that involve frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and long periods of standing.
• Well-groomed personal appearance.
