About the Role
This position is for a field-based Sales Advisor covering a defined territory in Uttar Pradesh and operating from Lucknow. The role focuses on driving territory sales, increasing awareness of the therapy area and products, and supporting company sales goals through regular engagement with healthcare stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow sales within the assigned territory in line with business objectives.
- Map and identify potential doctors, institutions, and customer accounts.
- Build and sustain productive relationships with doctors, pharmacists, purchase managers, hospital teams, distributors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Promote the therapy area and products while supporting marketing initiatives in the field.
- Arrange scientific meetings and other educational interactions to strengthen brand visibility and product awareness.
- Engage healthcare professionals in scientific activities as part of territory execution.
- Keep records accurately and submit sales information and reports on time.
- Take part actively in cycle meetings and NSM reviews to maintain selling capability, in-clinic effectiveness, product understanding, and competitor awareness.
- Handle the process of getting the product included in hospital formularies where needed.
- Conduct business in line with the company's values and ethical standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should hold a pharmacy degree or a science degree. An MBA is preferred. The role requires English and Hindi language ability. Applicants should have at least 5 years of pharma sales experience across Delhi NCR and other northern Indian states. Familiarity with the local market is an added advantage, and oncology experience is preferred.
Work Model
This is a field-based role. For field-based and remote-by-design positions, travel to meet customers, patients, business partners, and to attend meetings as required is an essential part of the job.
