Key responsibilities

  • Lead the store toward sales and KPI targets while ensuring full alignment with DAMAS operating standards.
  • Build strong product knowledge across DAMAS and competitor offerings and use that knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Keep stock records accurate and maintain 100% inventory correctness.
  • Enforce store schedules, attendance, grooming, and opening/closing discipline.
  • Safeguard store keys and make sure all security measures, including CCTV and alarm systems, remain in proper working order.
  • Share sales plans with the team clearly and ensure every sales associate contributes to the target.
  • Support customer handling by identifying needs, giving correct product and pricing details, and helping resolve sales issues.
  • Maintain store presentation, cleanliness, display quality, and overall brand compliance.
  • Check that equipment such as scales, calculators, diamond testers, and related tools function accurately.
  • Control stock through regular jewellery and certified diamond counts, audit reporting, stock-taking, and inspection of pieces that need cleaning, polishing, rhodium treatment, or other corrective work.
  • Remove any non-compliant items from display or stock whenever required.
  • Ensure invoicing is correct and that cash and credit transactions show no discrepancies.
  • Track repair orders in Navision and follow up to make sure deliveries happen on time.
  • Review customer bookings at least twice each month.
  • Follow Blueprint and all other store operating procedures without exception.
  • Keep sufficient packing materials for branded and non-branded jewellery, store them correctly, and escalate shortages immediately.
  • Manage petty cash in line with Finance rules and submit approvals on time.
  • Address employee concerns according to HR policy and keep the team engaged and motivated.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews in line with DAMAS standards.
  • Support succession planning by developing a strong talent pipeline and staying informed about current market trends.

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience is required.
