Role Overview
This position sits within market coverage and operations. As a Task Force Manager, you will be sent to Landing markets nationwide whenever the business needs support. In each assignment, you take over as the sole operator while the General Manager is away, and you are responsible for running the market end to end. That includes member experience, property partner relationships, housekeeping and maintenance coordination, unit quality, and reporting on performance. Assignments typically last one to three weeks, and you must be able to move quickly when a need arises. Because travel is driven by business requirements, being located near a major hub is important.
Experience in hotel operations, short-term rental management, or a busy hospitality environment is especially relevant. In this job, you step into an existing market and make it function smoothly as if it were your own, without a long onboarding ramp. The company is looking for someone who works well under pressure, makes fast decisions, and can quickly earn trust with new teams and partners.
Candidates based in Denver are strongly preferred because of the city’s proximity to major airports and easier access to remote markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of day-to-day market operations when the General Manager is on leave, including member experience, property partnerships, vendor coordination, and maintenance issue escalation.
- Handle support tickets and member communications across all channels.
- Work with property management teams to close out maintenance requests, resolve member concerns, and complete new lease activities.
- Track and manage market performance metrics such as NPS, CSAT, cleaning quality, and market growth.
- Assess unit readiness and confirm every home meets Landing’s standards before move-in.
- Maintain relationships with key property accounts throughout each assignment.
- Support market expansion by coordinating and installing new Landing homes in assigned markets.
- Prepare for and coordinate VIP guest bookings.
- Coordinate clean handoffs with the AGM and Hub Manager at both the beginning and end of each assignment.
- Provide auxiliary training support when you are not actively assigned to a market.
Work Schedule and Travel
This position requires 80% travel. While on assignment, you are expected to act as the market owner, which means availability can extend beyond standard business hours depending on operational needs. Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required. Demand is especially high around month-end and during heavy check-in periods.

- Base salary of $75,000 per year.
