Role overview
This full-time, on-site position is based in the Riyadh Region and focuses on leading the technical office activities that support project delivery. The selected candidate will be responsible for keeping technical documents in order, coordinating engineering outputs, and making sure drawings, designs, and specifications are prepared, reviewed, and maintained accurately.
Key responsibilities
The role requires close coordination of project schedules, resources, and deliverables so that work moves forward smoothly. You will work with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to keep communication aligned and projects on track. The position also includes reviewing and approving technical drawings, monitoring budgets, preparing reports, and using data to support informed decisions.
In addition, the Technical Office Manager will oversee compliance with applicable standards, carry out technical research when needed, and look for ways to improve technical office processes and overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience using technical drawing and documentation tools to create, review, and revise engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong capability in budgeting, including planning, tracking, and controlling project costs and resource use.
- Solid project management skills for handling schedules, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination.
- Educational or professional background in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Ability to research technical information, compare options, and support decisions with evidence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
- Prior experience in a technical office or engineering project coordination role, ideally in construction, manufacturing, or a similar environment.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills; Arabic is considered an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in the Riyadh Region and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
