About the role
Join a global organization that delivers energy solutions designed to support business growth and help communities prosper. This full-time Utility Technician position is based at the Calgary, Alberta service center and supports operations that keep rental equipment moving efficiently for customers.
What you'll do
- Work from the Calgary service center and support day-to-day yard and warehouse activity.
- Use both large and small forklifts to load and unload rental equipment and related materials.
- Check rental inventory carefully and confirm count accuracy before equipment goes out for delivery.
- Receive returned equipment, clean it, and store it properly back in the service center.
- Keep the yard and warehouse neat, organized, and compliant with safety expectations.
- Wash rental equipment as part of the maintenance and preparation process.
- Inspect cables and carry out basic repairs when needed.
Skills and experience needed
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent qualification.
- Between 0 and 3 years of experience in a warehouse or yard environment.
- Strong customer service approach.
- Commitment to safety and the ability to actively support a safety-first workplace.
- Positive attitude, self-motivation, and comfort working collaboratively in a busy, fast-moving setting.
- Dependable work ethic and a focus on consistent quality.
- Willingness to work overtime, travel, and be on call.
- Ability to lift or move items, usually under 75 lbs.
