Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Visa Officer position based in Kottayam / Trivandrum. The role focuses on advising students and applicants on study-abroad pathways, visa options, and immigration rules for several destination countries.

Key Duties

You will be responsible for examining and arranging client paperwork, handling visa submission activity, coordinating tuition-fee related communication, checking eligibility, completing and validating application forms, and making sure every requirement and deadline is met. The position also requires regular coordination with applicants and internal stakeholders, maintaining precise records, and keeping clients informed about application progress and subsequent steps. In addition, you will need to stay updated on visa and immigration policy changes, deliver strong customer support, and assist with seminars, workshops, and outreach initiatives linked to overseas education.

Qualifications and Profile

The ideal candidate should have a solid working understanding of visa and immigration matters, including document requirements and basic regulatory procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are important for counseling students and working with families and internal teams. Candidates should be customer-oriented, capable of responding to queries, addressing concerns, and managing expectations professionally. High attention to detail, good organization, and the ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines at once are essential. A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required, while qualifications in education, counseling, or related areas will be considered an advantage. Prior experience in overseas education, immigration consulting, or similar administrative work is preferred. Good English skills are necessary; familiarity with local languages and basic computer knowledge such as MS Office, email, and CRM tools will be helpful.
