Role overview
This opportunity is with a major global technology organization working through Aquent Studios. The role is focused on strengthening brand strategy through high-impact visual design that reaches a large worldwide audience. The designer will help shape how the brand looks, feels, and connects with customers across digital and marketing channels.
In this position, you will turn strategic direction into engaging creative assets that support campaigns, advertising, and brand growth. The work will influence brand perception, customer engagement, and the overall visual identity of the business.
What you will do
- Convert brand strategy into visual concepts for a range of marketing initiatives.
- Create and refine brand assets for web and digital environments.
- Partner with teammates and collaborators to keep the brand expression distinctive and memorable.
- Explore several design directions and iterate based on trends and feedback.
- Help evolve the brand while maintaining consistency and strong visual impact.
- Produce creative deliverables for campaigns and advertising efforts.
- Take part in design reviews and improve concepts based on critique.
- Support creative testing and validation alongside the brand strategy research team.
- Champion brand standards and understand when work should stay on-brand or intentionally break pattern.
- Make thoughtful design tradeoffs while building knowledge in research, accessibility, and inclusive design practices.
- Bring ideas that encourage discussion, creativity, and innovation within the team.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of marketing experience.
- A marketing qualification or a bachelor’s degree.
- Proven ability to create brand-aligned creative work from strategy.
- Hands-on skill with design tools such as Figma or Sketch, including strong attention to pixel precision and vector work.
- Experience working with frontend developers to implement design concepts.
- A strong portfolio showing branding, marketing, visual design, and interaction design work.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly in both spoken and written form.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders and form productive partnerships.
- Comfort working through ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
- Empathy-driven approach with an ability to simplify complexity and work within existing design systems.
- Interest in or comfort with projects centered on technology.
Preferred background
- Experience working for a global B2B technology company.
- Background in a creative agency.
- Experience collaborating with distributed virtual teams.
Compensation and benefits
The expected pay range for this role is $28 to $32 per hour. Final compensation may vary based on education, relevant experience, certifications, and location.
Possible benefits include medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility for a 401(k) plan with company match, if applicable.
