Role Overview

This role is focused on getting the dining area ready before service, keeping it tidy and welcoming, and supporting the team throughout service while serving guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the morning cleaning routine in the restaurant.
• Wash and prepare all service utensils before every service period.
• Assist the captain waiter with setting up the restaurant.
• Maintain a neat personal presentation and high standards of hygiene.
• Help prepare mise en place under the captain waiter’s direction.
• Carry food from the kitchen to the dining area.
• Assist in placing food plates on guests’ tables.
• Replace ashtrays and refill water glasses during service.
• Clear tables after guests finish their meals and clean them properly.
• Take used plates and glasses to the dishwashing section.
• Follow the captain waiter’s instructions and work under close guidance.
