Warehouse Keeper

Role overview

Napco National is looking for a Warehouse Keeper to manage raw materials, operating materials, and finished goods movements in the warehouse while maintaining accurate records, proper storage, and compliance with internal quality and food safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Accept RM/ORM transfers in the ERP system, confirm their actual availability, and check that they are stored in the correct location.
• After confirming material availability, coordinate with the forklift driver to gather all requested items in a single designated area.
• Verify the arranged materials against the ERP transfer document, resolve any mismatches with the forklift driver, and provide approval by signing off.
• When RM/ORM shipments arrive, obtain the packing list from the purchasing team and compare the delivered quantity with the listed quantity.
• Once the shipment quantity is confirmed and QC has approved the quality, sign the original packing list, attach a copy to the packing slip, and forward it to procurement and accounts.
• Perform monthly inventory accuracy checks to ensure the physical stock matches the system records.
• Carry out 5S housekeeping and organization activities within the warehouse.
• Receive finished goods transfers from production areas and direct the forklift driver to place the materials in the correct storage location.
• Inspect pallets for condition and cleanliness before recording the materials in the ERP system.
• For finished goods loading, physically count the truck-loaded quantity against the packing list to ensure the correct amount is dispatched and invoiced.
• Handle returned finished goods by arranging unloading through the forklift driver, informing QC, preparing the packing slip, and sending it to customer service and accounting for credit note processing.
• Weigh received raw materials, record waste quantities, and enter the data into the system.
• Follow FSMS procedures and instructions relevant to the role.
• Ensure all FSMS-related observations and findings are closed out properly.
