Role Overview

AVA at Palm Jumeirah, part of The Lana, Dubai - Dorchester Collection, is seeking a full-time Wellness Host for the Rooms - Residences division. This is a permanent, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

What the Role Involves

As a Wellness Host, you will help create a calm, polished, and luxurious experience for residents and their families in the pool and wellness spaces. The role combines attentive guest interaction with hands-on operational work in indoor and outdoor wellness areas.

You will be expected to keep the wellness environment immaculate, warmly support residents, and ensure every interaction contributes to a smooth and relaxing stay. The position is physically active and involves extended standing and walking throughout the shift.

Key Duties

Your day-to-day work will include opening and closing the pool and wellness facilities, preparing the area for guest use, assisting with beverage service, and arranging or clearing sun loungers and related setups. You will also maintain comfort, cleanliness, and presentation standards throughout service hours.

The team wants the service style to feel intuitive, calm, and caring, while still meeting the highest operational standards expected in a luxury residence environment.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, a polished professional presence, and a genuine interest in luxury wellness and hospitality. You should be comfortable creating welcoming spaces and sustaining excellent housekeeping and presentation standards.

Experience of 1 to 2 years in a luxury hotel, resort, wellness, or residential setting is expected. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important, along with the ability to work well with others and contribute to a respectful team culture.

You should be organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with limited supervision. English is the main working language at AVA, so confidence in spoken and written English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
