About Vedapath
Vedapath is developing a comprehensive platform for ancient Indian wisdom, bringing together texts such as the Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharata, the four Vedas, 18 Puranas, Upanishads, and 20+ additional sacred works. The platform presents these in Sanskrit, transliteration, and translations across 30 languages. Beyond digitising scripture, the team focuses on making these stories feel alive through AI-driven conversations, comics in multiple languages, and microdramas that make age-old narratives feel immediate and personal. Built by a compact team of IIT alumni, the company uses advanced generative AI to make these stories accessible to everyone.
Interns are expected to contribute to the core product rather than assist with routine tasks. Previous design interns have independently handled the app’s end-to-end UI/UX, created the comic production flow, and built the microdrama pipeline from scratch. The environment values speed, ownership, and craft, with opportunities to do high-impact work early in your career.
Role overview
This 3-month UI/UX internship is based in Delhi and requires full-time in-office participation. It is open across Delhi, Kolkata, and Bangalore locations. The internship starts immediately and offers a stipend of INR 10,000 to 20,000 per month. There are 4 openings available.
Key responsibilities
You will own the product design journey for the Vedapath app from start to finish, including user research, wireframing, high-fidelity interfaces, and interaction design for both iOS and Android. A major part of the role is shaping how users experience comics and microdramas, especially the visual storytelling of the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Puranas across different languages and formats.
You will also help design and improve internal production workflows by creating tools and interfaces used by the content team to produce comics in 30 languages and microdramas at scale. Your work will directly influence the production system. In addition, you will ship live work to real users, study analytics and feedback, and iterate quickly. You will work closely with the founding team, present and defend your design decisions, and contribute to product direction from day one. The role also involves working at the intersection of AI and design, using advanced generative AI tools to explore new visual storytelling possibilities.
