Role overview
DynaFire is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to help support the access control and security team. This role focuses on keeping the installation function running smoothly day to day while maintaining strong quality, safety, and professionalism standards.
The position involves coordinating close-out paperwork, permits, drawings, as-builts, zone maps, 100% test letters, and any other documents needed by clients, job sites, or Fire Marshals. It also includes helping manage materials, warehouse coordination, scheduling, and communication across project teams.
Key duties
- Move materials between the warehouse and job sites as needed.
- Handle permit processing when required.
- Support Project Managers with tasks related to the New Construction Department.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to plan scheduling for equipment, wire, and material readiness.
- Check availability of devices, wire, and materials in the warehouse or confirm delivery timelines with purchasing.
- Make sure no items leave staging or the warehouse without proper oversight and documentation.
- Help with daily written and verbal communication between field staff, customers, and other DynaFire employees.
- Assist with inventory control activities.
- Deliver equipment to job sites when needed.
- Pick up equipment from job sites and local distributors when required.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Complete any other tasks assigned by DynaFire.
- Collect job documents and return them to Engineering.
Requirements
Candidates should bring 1 to 3 years of entry-level experience as a Project Management Assistant. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with computer and software knowledge. The role also requires earning FASA/BASA certification within the first 12 months of employment.
