About Hypersonix

Role Overview
This role focuses on bringing in new Hypersonix customers and building strong relationships with prospective clients to support sales goals. It involves active outbound prospecting, lead nurturing, assessing potential customers, booking software demos to confirm fit, and working with product specialists and leadership to close deals.
This is primarily an inside sales position with a strong focus on increasing Hypersonix’s presence in the market, especially among mid-sized and larger businesses in the company’s target verticals, including retail, restaurants, eCommerce, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Find, contact, and qualify new business opportunities to support revenue growth.
- Present Hypersonix products and services, using product knowledge and market understanding to show how the solution solves customer problems.
- Improve lead-generation approaches by identifying effective practices and applying them.
- Create and execute yearly sales and account plans to achieve revenue and relationship objectives under the guidance of the VP of Sales.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships that help generate both new and repeat business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer pain points, then share strategic recommendations based on those insights.
- Keep accurate records of customers, forecasts, expense plans, budgets, and related data.
- Prepare and review sales proposals, ROI assessments, professional services estimates, and invoices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Development and Finance to align customer needs with company goals.
- Use a sales development platform to conduct outreach through calls, email, and social engagement.
Candidate Profile
The preferred candidate has experience in retail, CPG, or e-commerce settings and has sold software or SaaS solutions successfully. The person should be self-driven, persistent, and focused on hitting sales targets while opening and closing qualified opportunities. Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system is important, and familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus.
Additional Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification is preferred, or at least 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel when required.
