Role overview

This position is based at the Canberra branch and focuses on precise handling of cash and valuables. The work involves receiving money and valuables from clients, counting and verifying them, and then sorting and packing them for onward delivery.

Key duties

• Process cash and other valuables efficiently and securely
• Keep processing records accurate and up to date
• Spot and report any shortages, overages, or other inconsistencies
• Work in line with strict security and operational protocols
• Follow all Armaguard safety requirements at all times

Who should apply

The ideal candidate is someone who is naturally careful with money and numbers, and who takes satisfaction in getting details right. Experience in banking, retail, or similar customer-facing environments may be useful, but it is not essential. A willingness to learn, plus the ability to work accurately and reliably, matters most.
