Role Summary

The office cleaner will work full time during evening hours and will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the facility. The position is focused on keeping the workplace clean, safe, and presentable for staff, visitors, and clients.

Key Duties

• Maintain floors, stairs, and other surfaces by sweeping, mopping, and washing as needed.
• Clean interior glass, window ledges, partitions, and designated windows.
• Wash entrance glass and trim on both the inside and outside, and spot-clean interior walls daily when required.
• Sanitize washrooms and keep them stocked with paper products and soap; this includes cleaning mirrors and glass, emptying bins, refilling dispensers, dusting ledges, cleaning tile walls and shelves, and scrubbing or mopping floors.
• Support the supervisor with tasks that require extra help from staff.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns such as blocked fixtures or lights that are no longer working.
• Gather waste from the building each day, place it in approved containers, and transport it to the correct collection area.
• Replace liners in waste bins and trash containers as directed.
• Handle high dusting and wall washing when needed.
• Complete other related work as assigned.

This role is suited to someone with a positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently while interacting professionally with supervisors, clients, and the public. A clean criminal background check is mandatory.
