Role overview

The Data Analyst will play a central role in the company’s analytics function, turning complex healthcare and operational data into actionable insights that support decisions across the business. This position requires independent ownership, close collaboration with operations, clinical, and finance leaders, and the ability to convert open-ended questions into structured analysis and dashboards. The role spans RPM, CCM, and telehealth data, with responsibility for building reporting systems, automating workflows, and highlighting patterns that influence patient outcomes and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will analyze data, create dashboards, improve reporting, automate processes, and maintain high standards for data quality, governance, and communication. The work will support evidence-based decisions across the organization and may expand as business needs change.

Data analysis and insights

Turn business and clinical questions into structured analyses that produce clear, decision-ready insights.
Use SQL to query, combine, and summarize data from different systems and databases.
Perform exploratory and on-demand analysis to spot trends, outliers, and opportunities in patient, operational, and financial information.
Work with leaders in operations, clinical functions, and finance to define metrics and confirm assumptions.

Dashboards and reporting

Create and support interactive dashboards and reports that are understandable for both technical and non-technical users.
Build recurring reports using analytics and business intelligence tools.
Document metric definitions and supporting logic so reporting remains consistent and reusable.
Improve report speed, clarity, and ease of use based on stakeholder input.

Automation and data handling

Develop and maintain pipelines and automated workflows that reduce manual effort and improve reporting reliability.
Work with cloud-based storage and services in AWS and Microsoft environments to manage data at scale.
Use Java, C#, and JSON-based structures to support integration, processing, and automation tasks.
Apply advanced Excel techniques such as formulas, pivot tables, and data models for analysis and validation.

Data quality, governance, and compliance

Track data quality issues and help correct errors, gaps, and inconsistencies at the source whenever possible.
Handle patient and operational data securely and in compliance with HIPAA.
Record data sources, transformations, and business rules to support transparency and auditability.
Contribute to governance practices and responsible data use across the organization.

Collaboration and communication

Communicate findings and recommendations clearly, adapting the message to the audience.
Partner with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver practical solutions.
Act as a reliable resource for interpreting data and supporting evidence-based decisions.
Take part in team reviews and help improve analytics processes over time.

Required qualifications

Hands-on experience programming in Java and C#, with working knowledge of JSON for data exchange and integration.
Strong SQL skills, including advanced queries, joins, and performance optimization.
Ability to create dashboards that can adapt as business needs change.
Experience using data analytics and business intelligence tools.
Advanced Excel capability, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modeling.
Ability to translate complex datasets into clear, practical insights for non-technical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
Experience working with cloud platforms, including AWS and Microsoft environments.
Strong attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.

Preferred qualifications

Background in healthcare, telehealth, RPM, CCM, or another regulated data environment.
Familiarity with HIPAA requirements and handling of protected health information (PHI).
Experience creating automated data pipelines and ETL workflows.
Exposure to statistical analysis, forecasting, or predictive modeling.
Experience with version control and collaborative development practices.

Schedule and work arrangement

This is a full-time exempt role. Work hours are Monday through Friday during Eastern Time business hours to stay aligned with the team and key stakeholders, including David Cole. Some schedule flexibility may be needed depending on reporting deadlines and operational priorities, with advance communication provided when changes are required.
