Role Overview
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Data Partnerships Lead supporting one of our clients. The position is centered on building, growing, and managing strategic data partnerships that strengthen product capabilities and contribute to revenue through data monetization.
Key Responsibilities
You will lead partnership discovery, negotiation, execution, and ongoing performance management, while working closely with teams across engineering, product, legal, and compliance.
- Source and assess prospective data partners that can broaden the platform’s data ecosystem and improve model outcomes.
- Lead negotiations and complete data licensing agreements that support business goals and meet compliance expectations.
- Partner with engineering teams to bring third-party data into existing pipelines and platform workflows.
- Track partnership results, analyze effectiveness, and recommend ways to improve or scale each relationship.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance stakeholders to ensure all agreements align with regulations and internal policy requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in data partnerships, licensing, and cross-functional execution within technology or AI-focused environments.
- Background in negotiating data licensing deals and partnership agreements.
- Strong grasp of data monetization approaches and data infrastructure fundamentals.
- Ability to use data analysis methods and tools to evaluate partnership value and business impact.
- Experience managing projects that involve engineering, product, and legal teams.
- Working knowledge of privacy frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar data protection regulations.
