About the role
Join the Queenstown team and work across a scenic alpine transport network while using high-quality equipment and contributing to essential infrastructure upkeep. The role sits within a business that designs, builds, supports, and maintains assets, infrastructure, and facilities through long-term customer partnerships and practical industry knowledge.
The opportunity
This permanent full-time position involves operating, servicing, and maintaining plant and equipment, along with supporting maintenance activities and urgent repairs across the network. The work includes routine tasks as well as winter operations and emergency response, all aimed at keeping roads safe and functioning throughout the year.
The role is based in Queenstown, Otago, New Zealand and follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with some weekend shifts, winter rosters, and on-call duties as required.

Key requirements
Applicants should hold a full NZ Class 4 or 5 licence, have experience transporting and operating machinery, and bring a strong commitment to safety and quality. You should be able to work well on your own as well as with others, have civil construction experience if possible, and be comfortable with shift work in a practical, hands-on role.
