Electronics Assembler & Warehouse Assistant

About the Role

This position combines electronics and mechanical assembly with warehouse support. You will help build a modular product, handle traceability tasks such as logging and assigning module serial numbers to the relevant order, and support the packaging and booking of outbound shipments. The role also includes managing incoming stock, storing goods correctly, and carrying out inventory checks.

Key Responsibilities

• Put together mechanical parts and install electronic hardware as part of the assembly process.
• Assign module details in the system to maintain traceability across orders.
• Create pick lists and support the selection of materials from the warehouse for daily production builds.
• Prepare materials for dispatch.
• Pack outgoing items for shipment.
• Arrange courier pickup for goods leaving the site.
• Receive incoming deliveries and place them into storage.
• Keep track of inventory levels and monitor stock movement.
• Work to meet quality standards and output targets.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.
• Keep the workspace orderly and clean.
• Take on additional tasks as required.

Qualifications and Competencies

Successful applicants should have practical knowledge of small hand tools and be able to read and follow assembly-related documents, including build instructions and design change orders (DCOs). Strong attention to detail is important. Experience with mechanical assembly and electronics is preferred, and holding a forklift licence would be an advantage. You should be comfortable working with different team members, communicate clearly, and bring a hands-on approach to the role.

This role includes warehouse duties such as packing, outgoing collections, receiving stock, storage, inventory control, and stocktaking, alongside assembly work.
