Role overview

A highly private principal is looking for an Executive Personal Assistant to provide dedicated personal support from either the San Francisco Bay Area or Los Angeles. This is a hands-on role focused entirely on the principal’s private life, including residence support, household systems, and everyday personal operations.

Work environment

The setting is structured and highly organized, with clear systems already in place and very high standards. The right person will be calm, refined, self-directed, and able to work with a strong sense of discretion. This position is on-site for about half of the year, and weekend availability is needed during busier periods.

Key responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day running of personal and household activities.
Keep personal areas, supplies, and inventories orderly and fully stocked.
Help maintain property readiness and support smooth daily routines.
Handle calendars, logistics, and a range of ad hoc personal tasks.
Liaise with household team members and outside vendors when required.
Stay ahead of needs and solve issues proactively with little oversight.

Requirements

Background supporting a senior-level individual or family in an Executive or Personal Assistant capacity.
Strong planning and organizational ability, with excellent attention to detail.
High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, confidentiality, and a professional demeanor.
Comfort working independently while balancing several priorities at once.
Willingness to work fully on-site with flexible and variable hours.

This role is intended for a candidate based in either the San Francisco Bay Area or Los Angeles. The work is dedicated solely to personal support and does not include corporate assistance.

Working conditions

The role is fully on-site for roughly six months of the year, and weekend work is expected during peak months.
