Role overview

Taptap Send is hiring a strategic and experienced operator to join as a Founders Associate. In this role, you will work closely with the founder and senior leaders, taking ownership of major cross-functional initiatives that shape the company’s direction. You will help define strategy, drive execution, and contribute directly to business outcomes from day one.

The business processes billions of dollars across borders and supports diaspora communities in many countries, which means the work requires speed, comfort with ambiguity, strong analytical ability, and a strong execution mindset. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to work at the center of a fast-scaling global company and help build the systems and strategy behind its next stage of growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic projects end-to-end by identifying opportunities, creating execution plans, and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Work across Product, Finance, Operations, Legal, and other teams to turn plans into practical execution.
  • Build and refine core business processes and operating systems.
  • Support executive prioritization and resource allocation across major initiatives.
  • Perform strong analytical work using SQL, Excel, and related tools to inform decisions.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams on internal tools that improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Help run the internal operating rhythm by tracking KPIs and strengthening accountability.

Requirements

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in a high-performance, analytical setting such as consulting, business operations, startup/scale-up environments, or a similar background.
  • A demonstrated record of taking ideas from initial concept through to execution.
  • Strong analytical capability with comfort using SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A strong ownership mindset and the ability to move comfortably between detailed execution and big-picture thinking.
  • A bias toward action and a natural instinct for simplifying complex problems.
  • Preferred: fluency in languages other than English.
  • Preferred: experience working in global markets or emerging markets.
