Role overview
This freelance graphic design assignment supports a major destination marketing organization with the creation of polished marketing and stakeholder-facing materials. The work centers on producing visually strong, brand-aligned documents that present information clearly to varied audiences in the tourism and hospitality space.
The initial scope includes two multi-page documents: a briefing document and a destination strategy report, each expected to run about 10 to 20 pages. Source materials will be supplied in Word or HTML format, and the finished output must be built in Adobe InDesign. There is also a possibility of future work on brochures, campaign assets, and stakeholder reports.
This opportunity is fully remote. The first deliverable is expected by mid-July 2026.
Key deliverables
- Design and produce a briefing document and a destination strategy report of roughly 10 to 20 pages each in Adobe InDesign, using the provided Word or HTML source files.
- Apply the established brand system so that every page maintains a consistent, professional visual style.
- Combine text, data, and icons into layouts that are easy to read, attractive, and accessible.
- Prepare final files for both digital sharing and print production where needed.
- Work remotely with stakeholders, review feedback, and complete revisions through to final sign-off.
- Be open to follow-on assignments such as brochures, campaign collateral, and stakeholder reports.
Required background
- Hands-on experience using Adobe InDesign for multi-page document design and production.
- A portfolio that shows strong capability in reports, infographics, and presentation-style documents.
- Demonstrated ability to work within brand standards and produce refined, professional layouts.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is helpful.
- Experience related to tourism, hospitality, or destination marketing will be considered an advantage.
- Strong focus on accuracy, time planning, and clear communication.
- Ability to work independently and deliver on demanding timelines.
- Availability to complete the first project by mid-July 2026.
