Ground Maintenance

Role overview

A maintenance worker is required to support a client in Blyth, England. The position is based in a maintenance setting and involves a range of outdoor upkeep and site-cleaning duties.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out strimming, hedge trimming, weed control, and removal of ivy.
• Top up supplies in public facilities, including toilet areas.
• Pick up litter across the site.
• Water lawns, trees, and plants as needed.
• Use pressure-washing equipment to clean terraces, shared spaces, and machinery.
• Remove fallen branches and other debris from the grounds.
• Follow health and safety rules and comply with all relevant legislation.

Skills and experience needed

• Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence, as maintenance vehicles will be used during the role.

Working pattern

This role follows a Monday to Friday schedule, starting at 7:30am, with 37 hours per week.
