Key responsibilities

Own the full financial control framework and ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting is complete, accurate, and reliable, including statutory accounts and management reports.
Build, refine, and embed financial policies, controls, and governance structures that can support global scaling.
Monitor balance sheet accuracy, reconciliations, journal reviews, and close activities so reporting remains timely and compliant.
Coordinate external audit activity and serve as a main contact for auditors, tax bodies, and outside advisers.
Improve finance systems, workflows, and data quality, including the use of automation and AI-supported tools where suitable.
Maintain compliance with IFRS and changing regulatory obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
Guide, coach, and develop members of the accounting team while encouraging ownership, accuracy, and continuous learning.

Requirements

Significant experience in senior accounting or financial control positions, ideally in a global technology or SaaS setting.
A recognised professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or an equivalent credential, backed by strong academic results.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting, including practical experience with complex multi-entity structures.
Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite or comparable systems, along with advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
Solid understanding of financial controls, audit management, and governance in international businesses.
A highly analytical, detail-focused approach with strong discipline around accuracy, integrity, and structured problem-solving.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability, including confidence working with senior leaders and external parties.
Experience in high-growth or transformation settings, with involvement in process improvement and system rollout initiatives.
