About the role
Water Corporation is hiring a Planner for its High Voltage Maintenance function, based at the Canning Vale Depot in Perth. This position sits within the Operational Services team and reports to the Team Leader – High Voltage Maintenance. The core purpose of the role is to plan and coordinate a four-year high-voltage maintenance program while meeting legislative obligations and safety standards. The role works across Operations, Finance and Safety to support safe work planning and produce detailed work packs for field teams. It offers the chance to help maintain the reliability and performance of essential infrastructure serving Western Australia.
Key responsibilities
- Build and align the four-year high-voltage maintenance program with scheduling activities.
- Create and maintain safe job work packs, keeping safety central to all planning.
- Partner with Operations, Finance and Safety teams to support budgeting, planning and delivery.
- Help shape asset investment planning through maintenance and improvement strategy development.
- Track performance, prepare regular reports and suggest continuous improvement actions.
- Assist with audits, stakeholder coordination and safety-focused initiatives within the HV maintenance area.

Skills and experience required
The ideal candidate will bring a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or an Electrical trade certificate, along with solid experience in planning or delivering asset investment or maintenance programs. You should be confident using SAP and have strong Excel and Word skills. The role also calls for someone who can work independently, solve problems, handle competing priorities, communicate effectively with stakeholders and stay organised while thinking analytically.
