Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver in Batley, England. This is a full-time, on-site position with an hourly pay rate of £13.71. The role is suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers.

What the job is about

As a home delivery driver, you will be responsible for bringing customer shopping safely and on time, acting as a friendly and reliable representative of the business while out on the road.

Key responsibilities

• Load the van carefully and follow safe loading practices, including manual handling and heavier items.
• Drive safely and follow all road safety and driving standards.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and during use.
• Make sure grocery orders reach customers in excellent condition.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service during each drop-off.
• Support in-store tasks when needed.
• Work on your own with good time management and self-motivation.
• Be flexible enough to work varying shifts, with hours that may fall between 6:00am and 11:00pm.

What we are looking for

Applicants should hold a full driving licence that has been valid for at least 3 years and must have no more than 6 penalty points. You should be upbeat, approachable, committed to great service, reliable with deadlines, and confident in maintaining road safety.
