Housekeeper

About the Role

Aspira Island Park is hiring a permanent full-time Housekeeper to support a senior living home in Campbellford, Ontario. This is an existing opening with an hourly rate of $17.64. The role is based on site and includes scheduled weekday and weekend shifts.

Schedule

• Weekdays: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Weekends: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Shift pattern provided: Thursday off, Saturday, Sunday off, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday off, Friday off, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

What You Will Do

You will contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents while working as part of a fast-moving team. The position focuses on day-to-day housekeeping duties that help residents live with comfort, dignity, and respect.

Core Duties

• Carry out a variety of cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and removing marks from walls, windows, and doors.
• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and shared spaces according to set schedules and procedures.
• Prepare rooms for new residents so they are spotless, inviting, and ready for tours or occupancy.
• Maintain privacy and professionalism when working in occupied resident areas.
• Support the home’s culture by contributing to a caring and service-oriented environment.
• Provide additional help as needed based on operational requirements.

Requirements

• Prior housekeeping experience is required.
• You must be legally allowed to work in Canada, or hold a valid work or study permit.
• You must be able to pass both a Vulnerable Sector Check and a Criminal Records Check.
