Role Overview

Shared Health-Soins Communs is hiring a Housekeeping Aide for Churchill Health Centre in Churchill, Manitoba. Reporting to the Manager of Support Services, this role supports the housekeeping and laundry needs of the Churchill Regional Health Authority and is based on-site.

Working Details

This is a full-time position with an FTE of 1.00. The role follows a day, evening, and weekend schedule, with 8.00 hours worked per day and 2,080 annual base hours. The anticipated start date is 03/23/2026. The posting remains open until the position is filled.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $21.344, $21.972, $22.615, $23.277, and $23.959.

Responsibilities

• Carry out housekeeping and laundry duties for the Churchill Regional Health Authority.

Experience

• Prior housekeeping work in a hospital environment is required.

Education

• Grade 12 completion or an equivalent level of education is required.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively on your own as well as with a team.
• Working knowledge of WHMIS, or a related certification.

Additional Conditions

This role requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search, along with Child Abuse Registry and Adult Abuse Registry checks as a condition of employment. The selected candidate will cover any related service charges. A security check is considered current if it was completed within six months before the employment start date.

Employees cannot hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity if the combined total exceeds 1.0 EFT. The WRHA legal entity includes Churchill Health Centre, Deer Lodge Centre, Golden West Centennial Lodge, Grace Hospital, Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, Pan Am Clinic, River Park Gardens, Victoria General Hospital, WRHA corporate programs, and WRHA community health services.
