Hygiene Operative - Day Shift

Role Overview

Pilgrim’s Europe is hiring a Hygiene Operative for its Huntingdon site. This role suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards. The position calls for strong attention to detail, a practical approach, and a positive, can-do mindset.

What You’ll Do

You will be part of the hygiene team responsible for keeping the site compliant with required hygiene levels. The work is closely tied to colleague safety and the quality of the finished product.

Skills and Experience

Applicants should have solid written, numerical, and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to speak and write English fluently. Previous experience in FMCG or hygiene-related work is helpful but not essential. You should also be able to carry out standard hygiene tasks to the expected level.

Shift Pattern

The working rota is structured across two blocks: 06:00am to 14:00pm for two weeks, followed by 14:00pm to 10:00pm for the next two weeks.

Pay

This is an hourly-paid opportunity with the potential to earn more than £500 per week.
