Role Overview
Flexible Solutionz Ltd is seeking a skilled and personable IT Skills Developer to join its Technology team in Liverpool. The role suits someone who enjoys enabling colleagues to use technology effectively, delivering practical training, and supporting the introduction of new systems within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, run and assess IT learning sessions across a variety of delivery styles such as classroom teaching, one-to-one coaching, workshops and e-learning.
- Assess learning gaps and build clear, engaging training resources, including guides, presentations and supporting materials.
- Develop, update and manage the learning management system along with all associated training records.
- Assist with the adoption of new technology and software releases by providing structured training and transferring knowledge to users.
- Partner with IT and wider business support teams to encourage good practice and improve user uptake of systems.
- Offer application support and help employees with everyday IT questions and issues.
About You
- You should have a solid background in delivering IT training, ideally gained in a fast-paced IT support or service desk setting.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 is essential, particularly Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- You will need excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience producing training documents, e-learning materials and end-user guides is important.
- You should be well organised, proactive and comfortable juggling several priorities at once.
- The role requires flexibility to travel between office sites when needed.
Desirable Skills
- A recognised training qualification, such as Microsoft Certified Trainer or a similar credential, would be beneficial.
- Experience training users on case management, telephony, CRM or workflow platforms would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with document management tools, digital dictation systems and document comparison software is also desirable.
